X-Ray is a kind of non-destructive testing (NDT) method, which irradiates the volume of the part with X-rays and Gamma rays, this generates light film samples to verify the thickness change and the existence of internal and external defects This X-ray CR (Computer Radiography) inspection is usually used to confirm the quality of the welding process. CR development technology is using the imaging plate composed of phosphor crystals to replace the original film cassette (plated) for imaging, relying on the IP plate to absorb X-ray information and form a latent image by sensitization, which then is converted into a digital signal after scanning. Chaheng uses CR development technology and its indirect digital X-ray imaging technology to inspect the weld bead of complex-shaped parts in a short time without damaging parts. This technology was certified by our customer Safran.
